The Tod Consulting team offers international experience. Individually, our team members have worked in Africa, Australia, Bulgaria, China, Hong Kong, Ireland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. We bring prior knowledge from a diverse array of projects including refugee support infrastructure, an underground busway, an underground MRT, award winning architect-designed residences, land subdivisions, high quality beachside apartments, a runway for a major airport, an Australian Embassy, materials-handling structures for a gold mine, Dublin office buildings, and a bridge that was built without touching the ground.

During 1987 to 1999, Doug worked as a Construction Project Engineer, in Australia, the UK and Hong Kong. His projects include numerous road, airport and building projects; such as the Hong Kong International Airport on Chep Lap Kok Island. On his return to Australia, Doug joined Noosa Shire Council and rose to Manager of Works Operations. His broad experience as a municpal engineer and project manager on a wide range of construction projects allows him to make invaluable contributions during the planning, design and construction of Tod Consulting's projects.
In his free time, Doug enjoys golf, tennis and travelling with his wife.

Phil commenced his engineering career as a cadet in Main Roads' Brisbane Office and moved to their Gympie office after graduating as a Civil Engineer in 1975. In 1982, he moved from Main Roads to Maroochy Shire Council, where he managed Council's water and sewerage assets. In 1988, he became Council's Works Engineer, and was responsible for the Shire's capital works budget and programme. He then moved to private industry. His background in municipal engineering and Main Roads, along with his broad knowledge of local and state regulations, allow him to give relevant, practical and cost-effective advice for subdivision projects. He has undertaken his own land development projects, and is very familiar with the challenges and goals of his Clients. In 2011, he entered semi retirement, but he is still available in his role as a part-time consultant.
In his spare time, Phil maintains numerous cars as a motoring enthusiast, occasionally rides motorcycles to the far reaches of Australia, travels overseas with his wife and spends time with his grandchildren

In his personal time, he enjoys travel and recently published a book about his experiences. He is a new father and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Barry’s wide-ranging experience and keen analytical thinking allows him to give practical, well thought out solutions for projects of all scales. His dual experience as a Project Manager and a Structural design engineer make him highly effective in all his projects. He has a consultative, thorough and focused approach to his work.
In his spare time, Barry and his wife play various musical instruments in a Bush Band and a Rock Band at venues around the Sunshine Coast; and they enjoy travelling around Australia.

Anthony is responsible for the documentation of private, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. He prides himself on delivering quality documentation to clients that is valuable and easy to understand. Anthony's role includes direct liaison with clients and other consultants, as well as providing practical site advice. His effective communication skills and experience allow him to major contributions in identifying and solving project issues.
In his personal time, Anthony is a keen sportsman and is involved in Sunshine Coast Cricket, Oztag and general physical fitness. He spends time pursuing these activities with his wife and teenage children.
